Woman Stabbed In San Francisco's SoMa Neighborhood
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- A woman was stabbed in the leg early Sunday morning in San Francisco's South of Market neighborhood, according to police.
Just before 1:20 a.m. police received reports of a crowd of people fighting on Dow Place, an alley off of Second Street between Harrison and Folsom streets.
When the crowd dispersed a 28-year-old woman was found lying on the ground with a stab wound to her leg, police said.
A male suspect with a knife is believed to have attacked her during the fight, police said. He had not been found as of Monday morning.
The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening, police said.
