Woman Robbed While Using Vallejo ATM
VALLEJO (CBS SF) -- A woman was robbed at an ATM in Vallejo Sunday afternoon after she stepped away before completing a transaction, according to police.
A woman was making a transaction at an ATM at the Bank of America in the 3400 block of Sonoma Boulevard around 2:30 p.m. Sunday when she noticed a man at the machine next to her, according to Lt. John Whitney.
The woman started to walk away and saw that the subject had moved over to the ATM she had been using.
The victim realized that she had not closed out her transaction, and that the subject was making a transaction on her account, Whitney said.
She attempted to close the transaction and stop him, but the suspect grabbed her by the neck and pinned her against the wall while he completed the transaction, Whitney said.

The suspect then fled on foot. He was described as a black male adult in his 20s, 6 foot 3 inches tall with a skinny build. He was wearing a blue hat, red shirt and sweat pants, Whitney said.
This was the third such robbery that has occurred in Vallejo within the past week. Police were urging residents to be alert and make sure they end their ATM transactions before they walk away, Whitney said.
