Woman Killed In Oakland Crash Had Stolen Car, Police Say
OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- A woman who was killed in a car crash in East Oakland late Monday morning had stolen the car she was traveling in from a nearby repair shop a few moments earlier, police said Tuesday.
The fatal crash occurred around 11:30 a.m. Monday in the 3600 block of Foothill Boulevard in Oakland.
The woman who was killed was driving eastbound in the 3600 block of Foothill Boulevard when she crashed into a car traveling in the opposite direction.
The driver of the second vehicle was taken to a hospital with minor injuries but is expected to survive.
Oakland police aren't yet releasing the name of the woman who was killed.
