Woman Kicks Robber In Stomach Near San Francisco's Union Square
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- A woman was robbed near San Francisco's Union Square on Wednesday afternoon despite kicking the suspect in the stomach, police said.
The robbery was reported about 3:30 p.m. in the 300 block of Post Street.
The 41-year-old victim was getting into her car when a suspect approached, pulled out a gun and demanded her property, according to police.
The victim tried to resist by kicking the suspect in the stomach, but he managed to take her cellphone and cash before fleeing on foot, police said.
The suspect, described as a man in his 30s or 40s with a black handgun, had not been found as of this morning, according to police.
The victim was not injured in the robbery.
