Woman Found Dead At Vallejo Hotel
VALLEJO (CBS SF) -- A woman was found dead at a Vallejo hotel on Wednesday evening, and police are investigating the death as suspicious.
Police have made an arrest in the case, and have identified the suspect as Michael Daniels, 59, of Vallejo.
Emergency responders were called to the Great Western Inn at 1308 Lincoln Road E. at 7:55 p.m. Wednesday after a medical problem was reported there. They found a 37-year-old woman in one of the hotel rooms, unresponsive, police said.
Medical responders attempted to revive the woman without success, and she was pronounced dead a short time later.
Police were called to the scene and determined that the death was suspicious, and investigators began processing the scene for evidence.
Following up on a lead in the case, officers arrested Daniels in connection with the death, and he has been booked into Solano County Jail.
The victim's name is being withheld until her family has been notified of her death, police said.
