Woman Critically Injured In Hayward Shooting
HAYWARD (CBS SF) -- A female victim with multiple gunshot wounds is in critical condition this morning following a shooting that occurred outside an apartment complex in Hayward late Thursday night, a police sergeant said.
The shooting was reported at 11:02 a.m. at an apartment complex in the 27000 block of Sleepy Hollow Avenue, Hayward police Sgt. Mark Ormsby said.
The victim was transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries and is in surgery Friday morning, Ormsby said.
Police remained at the scene of the shooting and were continuing to investigate the incident.
