Woman Arrested For DUI After Driving Car Onto Railroad Tracks In Richmond

RICHMOND (CBS SF) -- A woman was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after she illegally drove her car onto railroad tracks and subsequently got stuck on the tracks near Interstate Highway 580 Thursday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The incident was reported as a vehicle on the tracks adjacent to Interstate Highway 580 and Central Avenue, located near Point Isabel Regional Seashore at 10:42 p.m., according to the CHP.

CHP took the driver of the 1998 BMW sedan, into custody at 11:28 p.m., according to a CHP officer.
