Woman Allegedly Stabs Husband In South San Francisco
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) - A domestic dispute escalated to violence in South San Francisco Tuesday night when a woman allegedly stabbed her husband, police said.
Officers responded to 3550 Carter Drive at about 8:10 p.m. on a report of a stabbing and determined that Diamond Sanders, 35, got into an argument with her husband at the house.
According to police, during the dispute Diamond stabbed her husband once in the chest and once on his wrist using a hunting knife.
The man was transported to a nearby hospital by South San Francisco Fire Department paramedics for treatment of his injuries.
Although Sanders fled from the home before officers arrived, they located and arrested her a short time later after searching the area surrounding the apartment complex.
Sanders was booked into San Mateo County Jail for attempted murder and is being held without bail.
