Dreadlock Wig-Wearing Robber Holds Up San Francisco Bank
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- A wig-wearing man robbed a bank in San Francisco's Financial District on Tuesday afternoon, a police spokesman said Wednesday.
The robbery was reported at 1:18 p.m. at a bank in the 300 block of Clay Street.
The suspect entered the bank and handed a note to a teller demanding money, police spokesman Officer Albie Esparza said.
The teller then gave an undisclosed amount of cash to the suspect, who fled, Esparza said.
The suspect, who remains at large, is described as a white man between 25 and 30 years old, about 6 feet tall and weighing roughly 180 pounds. He was wearing a wig with dreadlocks, according to Esparza.
He was also described as having facial stubble and dirty fingernails, and was wearing a backwards black-and-white baseball cap, sunglasses, a gray hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and dark shoes, Esparza said.
