OAKLAND (CBS-SF) – There was once a famous Nike ad campaign featuring superstar Michael Jordan fashioned around the phase – "I Wanna Be Like Mike."
It's a sure bet around the country today there are those who "want be like Steph."
Reigning NBA MVP Warriors guard Steph Curry's playmaking and shooting skills have generated an avalanche of comparisons to Jordan as Golden State has opened the season on a 10-0 run.
He leads the NBA in scoring with a 37.1 points per game. He's hitting on 43.7 percent of his three-point shots while picking up 5.3 rebounds, 5.6 assists and 2.6 steals a game.
But away from the mere numbers here's a few other reasons why we all want to be like Steph.
- 1.) Tossing in shots during key points in an NBA contest that are most often seen in a backyard H-O-R-S-E game among friends and siblings.
