Whitman Adds $20 Million More To Record Campaign Tab
SAN RAFAEL (KCBS) - On the same day she held her last gubernatorial debate in San Rafael with Jerry Brown, Meg Whitman put another $20 million of her own money into her campaign.
So far Whitman has put $140 million into her campaign. KCBS and Chronicle Insider Phil Matier says this sets a new record.
Matier says he suspects that a lot of the money is going towards getting out the vote now because people are starting to mail in absentee votes.
