Hack the Hood is an Oakland-based organization that introduces low-income youth of color to careers in tech by hiring and training them to build websites for small businesses in their own communities. 3. Steve LeVine is Washington Correspondent for Quartz, writing about the geopolitics of energy and technology. He's also a Future Tense Fellow at the New America Foundation and an adjunct professor at Georgetown University, where he teaches energy security in the graduate-level Security Studies Program.
