Weather Delaying Holiday Arrivals At SFO
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS / AP) -- Low clouds and rainy weather are being blamed for causing delays for travelers flying to San Francisco International Airport.
Airport duty manager John Ginty said what is known as a "ground delay program" put in place because of the weather is delaying most arrivals by 15 to 30 minutes, while some arrivals are being delayed about two hours.

The program is put in place during bad weather at SFO to manage the number of arrivals.
Departures are not being delayed because of the weather.
National Weather Service forecasters say the stormy weather that moved into the region Wednesday is expected to continue overnight and into Thanksgiving Day.
