Water Main Break Floods Streets In Downtown Danville
DANVILLE (CBS SF) - A water main break has flooded streets in downtown Danville Thursday evening, town officials said.
The main break happened at about 6 p.m. near the intersection of Hartz Avenue and Diablo Road.
Water was flowing into the intersection, and police closed it immediately. East Bay Municipal Utility District workers are working on repairing the main.
Hartz Avenue remains closed from Railroad Avenue to Diablo Road and Diablo from Front Street to Hartz is also closed. Some other side streets are also closed, Danville officials said.
