Watch Eddie Vedder Sing 'Take Me Out To The Ballgame' At World Series

(RADIO.COM) – Illinois-raised rock star Eddie Vedder sang "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" during the seventh inning stretch of Game 5 of the World Series at Wrigley Field in Chicago.
But before he uttered a note, he honored the team's record breaking season: "Look at this, look at you! Wrigley Field is full," he said. "It's October 30 and there's baseball at Wrigley Field for the first time in history."
Pearl Jam's frontman dedicated his peformance to Chicago Cubs catcher David Ross, who was playing what could have been the last game of his career (had the Cubs lost, which they didn't). Ross announced he will retire after this year.

Vedder then called on the ghost of Harry Caray for the count-in before launching into the familiar song, and directed the enthusiastic choir of baseball fans through the sing-a-long.
The Cubs kept their World Series dreams alive with a victory, but the Cleveland Indians still lead the best-of-seven series 3-2. On to Game Six.
