Washington Man Allegedly Kidnaps Son, Possibly Headed To California By Sailboat
SEATTLE (CBS SF) -- The FBI is on the look-out for a man from Washington who has reportedly kidnapped his biological son and may be headed to California on a sailboat.
According to an FBI report, 9-year-old Billy Hanson failed to return to his mother's home in Pennsylvania earlier this month after visiting his father in Seattle.
Authorities say that Jeffrey Hanson, his father, owns a sailboat and may have taken the boy to sea. They think he could be headed to Hawaii, Mexico or California.
The boy is described as white, 4-feet tall, 90-pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
His father is described as a 46-years-old white male, 5-feet-5-inches tall, 160-pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes.
The sailboat is described as a 1976 white Cooper single mast boat with a red stripe down the side. It has the name Draco painted on the transom.
