Warriors Fall To Kings Late In Preseason Game
SACRAMENTO (CBS / AP) -- Isaiah Thomas scored 21 points to help the Sacramento Kings rally in the fourth quarter for a 91-90 victory over the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night.
Stephen Curry made a jumper to give the Warriors an 89-88 lead, but John Salmons hit a 3-pointer with 7.6 seconds to put the Kings back in front.
David Lee was fouled with 1.3 seconds left and made the first free throw, but missed the second that would have tied the game.
Salmons had nine of his 14 points in the fourth quarter when the Kings outscored Golden State 21-9. Patrick Patterson added 11 points and DeMarcus Cousins fouled out midway through the fourth quarter with 11 points and nine rebounds.
Curry had 24 points and six assists for the Warriors. Klay Thompson had 16 points, Andrew Bogut had 12 and Lee 11.
