Reward Increased For Nursing Student Missing In Hayward
HAYWARD (CBS / AP) -- The family of a missing nursing student who disappeared a week ago has increased the reward to $40,000 for information leading to her safe return.
Family and friends of 26-year-old Michelle Le also scheduled a vigil for her from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday on Ponderosa Court. The street is about a half-mile from Kaiser Permanente Medical Center, where Le was last seen on May 27.

In a statement, Le's family said they are aware time is not on their side, but are buoyed by the addition of FBI missing persons personnel in the search.
Le disappeared during a break in class at Kaiser Permanente on May 27. Police say she told colleagues she was going to get something from her car, but then never returned.
Le is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall with black hair and brown eyes.
