Video Captures San Jose Man Rushing Into Condo Inferno To Save Dog
SAN JOSE (CBS SF) - A San Jose man and his dog are lucky to be alive after the owner rushed into a raging blaze to save his stranded pet Friday night.
Firefighters responded to the townhouse residences on Delbarr Court around 10 p.m. Friday after fire broke out in the carport area of one of the units.
YouTube poster Ramin Zarengar started recording about a minute before the dog's owner ran onto the scene, lifted the garage door and ran into the blaze. After twenty seconds inside, the unidentified owner re-emerged with the animal.
"Just in the nick of time. Literally, he came out with the dogs in hand, he turned his back and the car exploded in seconds," witness Stephanie Allen said.

Shortly after the rescue, flames can be seen surging into other parts of the home. About four minutes later, fire crews arrive on the scene. It took two hours to fully put down the fire.
No injuries were reported, but fire people were displaced from the home.
The San Jose Mercury News reports that an initial investigation suggests the fire likely started as a result of a fuel leak in one of the cars.
