Person Found Stabbed Near San Mateo Caltrain Station
SAN MATEO (CBS SF) -- A person was stabbed near the Caltrain station in downtown San Mateo Thursday afternoon, according to police.
The stabbing was reported at 4:10 p.m. on a pedestrian footbridge connecting the north end of the Downtown Transit Center Caltrain station and an alley behind North B Street.
The victim was found there suffering from a stab wound and was transported to a trauma center for treatment. Police said that the severity of the victim's injuries was not yet clear.
Police are investigating the stabbing and said that it appears to be an isolated incident.
