Sacramento Man Dies After Friday Night SF Mission District Shooting
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) - A Sacramento man who was shot in the head in San Francisco's Mission District late Friday night has succumbed to his injuries, according to the medical examiner's office.
Lorenzo Jimenez, 24, was injured in a shooting reported at 11:37 p.m. Friday in the 3100 block of 16th Street, between Valencia and Guerrero streets.
Jimenez apparently got into a fight with multiple suspects and one of them shot him in the head, police said.
He was taken to a hospital, where he died over the weekend, according to the medical examiner's office.
No arrests had been made in connection with the shooting and no suspect information was available as of Monday, police said.
