Vallejo Teen Drowns On Family Outing At Sacramento River
VALLEJO (CBS SF) - A 17-year-old Vallejo boy apparently drowned in the Sacramento River during an outing with his family on Monday.
Calvin Knight was with his family at Sandy Beach Park in Rio Vista, Solano County coroner's office Deputy Jackson Harris said.
Witnesses saw him go into the water and disappear around 10:30 a.m., Harris said. The Solano County sheriff's dive team recovered his body at 2:50 p.m.
An autopsy was scheduled for Tuesday, Harris said.
