Vallejo Police Arrest Suspect In Fatal Stabbing Outside Liquor Store
VALLEJO (CBS/BCN) -- A man was arrested Friday night on suspicion of fatally stabbing another man outside a liquor store in Vallejo last month, police said Saturday.
Irish Shane-Sheridan Donohue was arrested in connection with the murder of Aaron Rudolph, 35, who was stabbed on Dec. 5 during an altercation outside Parkway Liquors at 1601 Lewis Brown Road, according to police.
Rudolph, a Vallejo resident, was taken by passersby to Kaiser Permanente Vallejo Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries, police said.
The murder suspect and two persons of interest were seen on surveillance video taken inside the liquor store.
After photos from the surveillance footage were released to the public, Donohue was identified as the murder suspect, according to police.
Donohue was arrested Friday night in the 1000 block of Mariposa Street.
Along with being arrested on suspicion of murder, he was also arrested for possession of methamphetamine and marijuana for sale, possession of firearms, and involvement in criminal gang activity, police said.
Police are still seeking the two persons of interest that were seen on the surveillance video.
One is a white man between 21 and 25 years old who is 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighs 180 pounds. He was wearing a San Francisco Giants baseball hat, a black pea coat and blue jeans, according to police.
The other person of interest is a white woman between 21 and 25 years old who is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds. She was wearing a black jacket with a fur hood, blue jeans, a brown jacket and black boots, police said.
The three left the store in a green 1996 or 1997 BMW 740 IL with stock rims and tinted windows, according to police.
