Vallejo Police Arrest 1, Seek 2 Others For Saturday Home Burglary
VALLEJO (CBS SF) -- A man has been arrested and two others remain at large after allegedly burglarizing a home in Vallejo Saturday morning, police said.
Officers responded to a report of call that several young males were breaking into a home in the 400 block of Hannigan Way at about 11:45 a.m., police said.
The house, at the time, was occupied by a juvenile girl, and when she screamed, the suspects fled the area, according to police.
Nearby officers located one suspect, 18-year-old Vallejo resident Lionel Hampton, and arrested him, police said.
A resident who saw Hampton told officers that he had been in his home in the 300 block of Angelina Way on July 9.
Hampton was booked into the Solano County Jail on suspicion of burglary and resisting arrest. He also had false identification, was driving without a license and had several warrants out for his arrest.
Two other suspects remain at large and Vallejo police were continuing to investigate.
