Vallejo Woman Hides In Bathroom While Home Is Burglarized
VALLEJO (CBS SF) -- Two Vallejo teens were arrested Saturday afternoon after police were called to a home the pair was allegedly in the process of burglarizing.
Around 4:20 p.m. Saturday, a resident of a home in the 100 block of Kenyon Way called police to report that two people were burglarizing her home, police said.
Police said the resident hid in a locked bathroom after the suspects allegedly kicked in her front door and started stealing her property.
Officers arriving on the scene spotted the suspects fleeing the home with the victim's property, according to police.
Police apprehended both suspects, identified as 18-year-old Michael Clark and Carl Bonds, 19, both of Vallejo.
Both men were arrested on suspicion of first-degree residential burglary and conspiracy and taken to Solano County Jail in Fairfield.
Upon further investigation, police believe the pair is responsible for other burglaries in the area.
