Vallejo Brush Fire Briefly Threatens Homes
VALLEJO (CBS SF) -- Firefighters extinguished a fast-moving three-alarm grass fire in north Vallejo on Thursday, according to a fire official.
The blaze was reported off Tobin Drive near state Highways 37 and 29 around 1:45 p.m.
The fire was under control by around 5:30 p.m. and crews remained at the scene Thursday night to watch for hot spots and sparks.
No structures were damaged and no injuries were reported.
Vallejo firefighters are responding to a one-alarm structure fire Thursday night as well.
Responders found smoke at the home, located near Washington and Alameda streets, and are investigating the cause.
No injuries have been reported in the house fire.
