USF Wins 3rd Straight Season Opener By Beating Seattle

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -- Michael Williams and Angelo Caloiaro scored 18 points each as San Francisco won its third straight season opener under coach Red Walters by beating Seattle 97-76 on Friday night.

Williams matched a career high with eight rebounds.

Marko Petrovic and Moustapha Diarra added 14 points apiece for the Dons, who have nine true freshmen on their roster.

Sterling Carter had 26 points and Mark McLaughlin added 10 for Seattle (0-2).
