USF Overwhelms Dominican 68-47

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -- Angelo Caloiaro finished with 21 points and 10 rebounds to lead San Francisco to a 68-47 victory over Dominican, Calif., at the Hilltop Challenge on Saturday night.

Perris Blackwell added 13 points, 10 rebounds and five assists for the Dons (6-9), who won consecutive games for the first time this season.

Leon Hart scored 16 points to lead the Penguins (0-10). Adam Chavis had 14.

San Francisco built a 17-2 lead just over five minutes into the game. After Dominican briefly got the margin back to single digits, 17-8 with 13:07 left in the first half, the Dons responded with a 9-0 run to pull away for good.

San Francisco took a 42-22 advantage into halftime and led by at least 19 the rest of the way.
