Uber Pairing With Visa For Credit Rewards Program
SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS) -- The ride hailing company Uber is partnering with Visa to offer a credit card rewards program.
Riders in San Francisco and Los Angeles will soon be able to accumulate points towards a discounted Uber ride when they use a Visa card for purchases at specific stores and restaurants.
The Uber Local Offers program is part of a broader initiative by Visa to offer targeted discounts that help draw customers to its merchants. One hundred points can be redeemed for $10 off a future ride.
