Two Newcomers & One Surprise Returner To '90210'
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A former The Secret Circle star and a former One Tree Hill actress is set to join the cast of 90210 along with a very familiar guest.
Jessica Parker Kennedy and Lindsey McKeon will make their debuts on the show with the famous zip code. They'll be joined by Lori Loughlin who will return for the Season 5 premiere.
Kennedy has signed on to play the part of Megan for the upcoming season and according to Deadline, Megan is described as "a girl next door who tells her story in group therapy."
There's no word yet on which member of the gang she'll be in therapy with but our best guess is it could be anybody from Silver to Annie or even Dixon, assuming he survives his car accident.
McKeon isn't set to make her debut until Episode 3 as Suzanne, a mentor for Silver, and it's not clear how big a part she will play.
Speaking of Dixon, we may not know what his future holds, but whatever happens, it looks like his mom will be there to witness it.
According to TV Line, Lori Loughlin, who played maternal Debbie Wilson for the show's first three seasons, will return for the Season 5 premiere.
Loughlin said goodbye to the show back in 2011 when it began focusing on the teen storylines. For those who remember, Loughlin's Debbie was last season flirting with teacher Ryan Matthews before the actress made her exit at the end of Season 3.
As fans of the show should remember, Dixon got into a car accident at the end of last season, just as he was pleading Navid to stop Adrianna from moving to Las Vegas.
So does Debbie's return mean she's coming back to help her son recuperate or plan his funeral? We'll find out when 90210 returns on October 8 (8/7 c) only on the CW.
