TVD Writer On Season 4: People Will 'Freak'

A show writer for " The Vampire Diaries " said that season 4 is going to make people "freak."

Attending the ATX Television Festival "Diaries" panel along with executive producer Julie Plec , writer Jose Molina gave his own hints on what will come on season 4 next fall. TV Guide 's Robyn Ross relayed the scoop straight from Jose himself while moderating the panel.

"We have the road map for next season and before we broke for vacation, I was staring and looking at everything we have planned and this stupid grin spread over my face. I was like, 'they are going to sh**t,'" Jose said, "Already we have so many moments where people are going to freak."

In addition to this teasing bit of information, Julie also said that we are going to continue seeing Damon's ( Ian Somerhalder ) evolution as well as Elena's ( Nina Dobrev ) changing view of him. "He's going to keep evolving and Elena's feelings for him are going to continue to evolve."

Plus, we also learned that Alaric ( Matt Davis ) could possibly return to Mystic Falls, even if it is as a ghost for an episode or two.

"As long as Jeremy can see ghosts and Alaric is out there in the universe," Julie said, "then there's a window there."
