TTYM: D-Wade Crashes A Prom, Harper Crashes Into A Wall, And Manny Crashes Taiwan!

It’s all about crashing in this week’s That Thing You Missed. Jake “The Snake” Roberts crashes and burns while singing at a Braves game, Bryce Harper crashes into the wall, Manny is being Manny in Taiwan, an undergrad crashes into a catcher and Dwyane Wade crashes a prom.
Heat star Dwyane Wade hit the hardcourt this weekend. No you didn’t miss a Heat game – D-Wade surprised a Florida girl at her high school prom.
The Cora Gables senior took to YouTube to ask the point guard to be her date – but didn’t really expect him to show up.
Neither did her real date I’m sure.
On a side note: Wade was respectable enough to forgo florals and he actually wore full-length pants.
Well, almost.
Jake “The Snake” Roberts miraculously survived a drug and booze-fueled life of violence in the wrestling ring.
Now, after a life of head butts, face slams and alleged crack smoking --I swear singing Take Me Out to the Ballgame during the seventh inning stretch of the Braves-Dodgers game Friday night nearly killed him. Or at least cost him a lung.
Needless to say, it was absolutely terrible. Well, he is known for terrorizing people, after all.
Roberts is now sober and while it’s endearing to see the guy doing so well… It’s Atlanta, ya’ll. You couldn’t find one real recording artist to take the gig?
The only thing more baffling than how he could have possibly gotten such a bad read on that wall – is why no one will admit that the man has a concussion.

LSU outfielder Raph Rhymes is an incredible All-American player. You might even say he’s a "natural."
But, I have never seen a ballplayer work so hard for a home run in his life.
Is he on the gymnastics team too?
Manny Is Being Manny In Taiwan Too!
Ok, as a New Yorker I’m not exactly a Manny Ramirez lover. However, as a snarky sports lover, I may be his biggest fan.
And his entertainment factor hasn’t dropped since he moved to the Chinese Professional baseball league. Yes, there are Manny Moments in Taiwan too!
This time, he slides six feet short of second base trying to break up a double play. Well, the runner does make it safely to first!
If you’re a baseball fan who claims not to miss Manny Ramirez – you’re a big fat liar.
