Transient Injured In Knife Fight Outside Berkeley Discount Store
BERKELEY (CBS SF) - A man was cut in a knife fight outside a discount store in Berkeley on Wednesday afternoon, a Berkeley police lieutenant said.
Two transient men began fighting outside the 99-Cents Only store at 1941 San Pablo Ave. around 4:30 p.m., Lt. Ed Spiller said.
During the fight, one man pulled out a knife and cut the other man on the forearm, Spiller said. The victim suffered a minor wound.
The attacker was arrested, Spiller said. His name has not yet been released.
