Ticket Prices Soar For Finals Game 5
OAKLAND (CBS SF) – Ticket prices continued to soar as the hours counted down to NBA Finals Game 5 at the Oakland's Oracle Arena.
Even with Draymond Green suspended, Warriors fans appear to be convinced Golden State will clinch its second consecutive NBA title on Monday night.
According to SeatGeek, fans were paying on average $1,602 a ticket for Game 5 on the resell market. In comparison, Game 5 of last year's finals went for $1,412.
Stubhub – another ticket reseller – had nosebleed seats in the upper deck priced in a range from $1,022 to $548.
However, for the chance to sit next to Drake at courtside you will need to fork out nearly $9,000 with the rows immediately behind priced from $3,900 to $6,291.
For those of a more thrifty nature, you may want to consider a seat located in the same complex but at a different game.
For the same $35 parking fee, you can head out to the Oakland Athletics contest against the AL West first place Texas Rangers.
For $30 you can buy a ticket for a seat right behind home plate and maybe you'll even get a chance to see suspended Golden State star Draymond Green who will watching the game from the Coliseum.
You can put on your "Strength In Numbers" t-shirt, watch the game on the NBA app or at a stadium television monitor and when the Warriors win, rush out into the common plaza area to celebrate with the fans who were at the Golden State game.
