Three Arrested For Burglarizing Santa Clara Shooting Range
SANTA CLARA (KCBS) – Authorities in Santa Clara arrested three people early Wednesday morning in connection with the burglarizing of an indoor shooting range.
The front window of Reed's Indoor Range on Duane Avenue in Santa Clara was smashed in as authorities said three people broke into the gun store around 3:30 a.m.

But they set off a silent alarm and Santa Clara police Sgt. Ken Henderson said by the time they arrived on scene, a vehicle was seen leaving the store.
"As officers attempted to stop the vehicle, the occupants of the vehicle started to throw rifles out the window," Henderson said. "When the vehicle came to a stop, about ¾ of a mile away from where they were throwing the rifles out, they attempted (to flee on) foot, and all three suspects were arrested."
Police were able to recover all of the stolen firearms.
Jim Reed, who owns the store, said he's grateful, but still upset about the burglary.
"You feel violated because you feel like this is your own home. It's personal to me. But the most important thing is that you pay lots and lots of money to have a good security system and it worked," Reed said.
Police said the suspects, two men and a woman, have a previous criminal history.
