Classes Canceled At Santa Cruz County School Over Threat
SCOTTS VALLEY, Santa Cruz County (CBS SF) - Classes have been canceled Friday at a high school in Scotts Valley because of a security threat, school officials said.
Officials at Scotts Valley High School, located at 555 Glenwood Drive, received information about the possible threat late Thursday night and decided to cancel classes for today.
A message posted on the school's website by Scotts Valley Unified School District Superintendent Penny Weaver said police are working with school officials in investigating the threat.
Weaver said updates will be sent via email to all parents and staff in the district's database and on its website at www.scottsvalleyusd.org.
