The NCAA Tournament Is Great, But The Bay Area Has Eyes On NBA Title

KPIX 5 Morning Weather Anchor Roberta Gonzales answers the questions you never get to ask on-air.

Can't get enough Basketball? It's down to "Sweet 16" with the College Basketball Tournament otherwise known as March Madness. However, March Madness goes on hold tonight, returning to KPIX on Thursday. So, I came up with an option! You can get your hoops fix with Steph Curry and Company tonight! Think about this…our Golden State Warriors are now 33-2 at home in Oracle this season!

At tonight's 7:30pm tip off, the Dubs will go for 6 wins in a row against the Wizards from Washington. If you miss our home team tonight, the team goes on the road to start a four game road trip, keeping them away through Easter.

And extra bonus? Tonight the Warriors will celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Warriors winning the 1975 NBA Championship. Several members of the 1975 NBA Championship Team will be attending tonight's game while the Warriors pay tribute to the Head Coach Alvin Attles, Rick Barry, Charles Dudley, Butch Beard, George Johnson, Jeff Mullins, Clifford Ray, Jamal Wilkes, Assistant General Manager Hal Childs, Assistant Coach Joe Roberts and Assistant Coach Jose Roberts.

And here is the fun part for basketball aficionados! The 1975 NBA Championship Trophy will be available for viewing at Section 112 inside Oracle Arena for fans to take pictures of and with from 6:30pm to game time 7:30pm. Very cool!

Meanwhile, if you still need your March Madness fix, the fine folks on our digital team developed and designed a website just for you! Please visit cbssf.com/ncaa and you will find photos, stats and game times!

My brackets are broken so, I will see you at the Game!

I would love to hear from you! Please send weather questions, observations and photos to me, Gonzales@kpix.cbs.com and I look forward to hearing from you!
