The Flash Gets A Costume Upgrade For Season 2
(KBCWtv) - Last week, The CW released a photo of Stephen Amell aka Oliver Queen in his new "Green Arrow" uniform. Yes, we said "Green Arrow" - This time around The CW reveals another costume change and this time it's with The Flash.
ARROW'S NEW COSTUME:
In the recently released photo, Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) is shown wearing the white thunder emblem like the one worn in the comic books. On The Flash Facebook page, a new posting featuring the suit said "NEW SUIT, NEW SEASON! #TheFlash S2 premieres Tuesday, Oct. 6!"
The white emblem did appear in Season 1, Episode 17 as The Flash was taking on the Reverse Flash 15 years ago. During the Flash Panel at Wondercon 2015 in Anaheim, writer and executive producer Andrew Kreisberg referred to the episode and revealed that the appearance of the white emblem was his favorite Easter Egg during the first season.
