Teenage Boy Stabbed Near San Bruno Park

SAN BRUNO (BCN) - Police are searching for a man suspected of stabbing a 16-year-old boy in San Bruno Wednesday evening during a fight near Lions Field Park.

Officers responded at about 5:50 p.m. to the 400 block of Huntington Avenue, where witnesses reported seeing a group of roughly eight people involved in a fight, police said.

A 16-year-old South San Francisco boy was stabbed during the physical altercation. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment, and police said he is expected to recover from those injuries.

The suspects were last seen running east toward Lions Field Park, police said. Officers searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspects.

The man suspected of stabbing the victim is described as a Hispanic man in his early 20s with a shaved head who was wearing a blue shirt and khaki pants at the time of the attack.
