Teen Shot And Killed In Bay Point
BAY POINT (CBS/AP) -- Authorities say a 17-year-old boy has been killed and two others wounded in a shooting in Bay Point.
Contra Costa County sheriff's spokesman Jimmy Lee says deputies found the teen suffering from a gunshot wound when they were called out to a residential area around 11:05 p.m. Friday. The teen died at the scene. His name has not been released.
Lee says a 15-year-old boy and a 20-year-old man were treated at hospitals for minor wounds in the shooting.
Investigators have not determined a motive for the shooting, but say it is not related to a fatal stabbing of a 49-year-old man earlier Friday in Bay Point.
