Teen Pistol Whipped In Robbery At San Francisco Park
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS/BCN) - A teenage girl was hit on the head with a gun during an armed robbery near San Francisco's Crocker Amazon Playground on Thursday night, according to police.
The 17-year-old girl had money snatched from her as she struggled with the suspect, a boy who is believed to be about 17 years old, in the 1500 block of Geneva Avenue about 10:30 p.m., police said.
At the height of the argument, the boy hit the girl on the head with a handgun and then ran away on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The girl wasn't seriously injured, police said.
No arrests have been made and no other suspect information was available as of Friday afternoon, according to police.
