Teen Killed In Shooting At Bay Point Party Identified
BAY POINT (BCN) -- A 17-year-old boy who was killed in a shooting at a party in Bay Point late Friday night has been identified as Pacheco resident Kevin Rojas-Moreno, a Contra Costa County coroner's deputy said Monday.
The sheriff's office received reports of a disturbance and shots fired at a party at a home in the 200 block of Riverside Drive about 11:05 p.m., sheriff's spokesman Jimmy Lee said.
When deputies arrived, they found Rojas-Moreno shot and lying in front of the home, Lee said. The boy died from his injuries at the scene.
While deputies were investigating the shooting, two other victims showed up at separate hospitals with gunshot wounds, Lee said.
A 15-year-old boy was taken to John Muir Medical Center, and a 20-year-old man was taken to Northbay Medical Center. It has not been determined how the two were connected to the shooting, Lee said.
Both shooting victims were treated for minor injuries and released.
No arrests had been made, Lee said.
