Teen Burned With Cigarette During SF Pacific Heights Robbery
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) - Three men were robbed at gunpoint and one was burned with a cigarette at a park in San Francisco's Pacific Heights neighborhood on Tuesday night, police said.
The robbery was reported at 9:18 p.m. Tuesday at the tennis courts of Alta Plaza Park near the intersection of Sacramento and Pierce streets.
Three victims, all 19-year-old men, were at the courts when two suspects approached, one of whom pulled out a shotgun and ordered them to the ground, according to police.
While taking the victims' property, a suspect burned one of the men on the left hand with a lit cigarette, police said.
The suspects, both men in their 20s, then fled with the property, which included three cellphones, two wallets and an MP3 player. The thieves had not been found as of Wednesday, according to police.
The victim who suffered the cigarette burn refused medical treatment while the other two victims were uninjured.
