Tech Report: Mailbox Client Launches For iPhone
SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS) – Is your email inbox cluttered with hundreds or even worse, thousands of messages that could be trashed? Now, there's an app that might help.
Third-party mail client Mailbox launched for the iPhone on Thursday. The app is designed to make for a mobile-friendly e-mail experience with users able to archive or trash an e-mail with a simple swipe of a message.
Although Mailbox is live, many won't be able to use it immediately as the service is filling reservations on a first-come, first-served basis. The app's creator, Orchestra, is concerned about overwhelming its servers so it is limiting usage for the time being.

For now, Mailbox only works with Gmail although Orchestra said more e-mail platforms are coming soon.
The app can be downloaded for free in Apple's App Store, where users will get on the reservation list.
