Tech Report: Google Plus iPhone App Receives Major Redesign
SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS) – Google has released a major redesign for its Google+ iPhone app, which many experts said is a major departure from the social networking site's interface.
KCBS Technology Analyst Larry Magid said the app allows for a signature picture to be posted prominently, rather than before when it was hidden among text. He said the only issue is that it allows for only one photo and users will have to scroll through the pictures to get from post to post.

The app, which was released earlier this month, is more Flipboard or Pinterest than Facebook or Twitter, as it serves very much as a visual app, rather than just focusing on social media.
Magid said Google seems to be focusing on the fact that posts to social media site's with picture tend to catch the attention of those who are part of a user's circle.
