Tech Report: Best Buy Buy-Back Program Offered For Free
(KCBS) – Best Buy is offering a deal to customers who might not hold on to gadgets for a long time. Through Saturday, customers who purchase certain products at Best Buy or through Best Buy Mobile will be enrolled in a buy-back program at no charge.
The company launched the program last month. Customers who enroll can get a Best Buy gift card when they eventually decide to move on to a new product.
Best Buy used a Super Bowl ad featuring Ozzy Osbourne and Justin Bieber to promote the program.

KCBS Technology Analyst Larry Magid said the buy-back program will charge different amounts after Saturday, depending on the product you purchase.
He also said that consumers can return the products, but the longer they keep them, the less they will get in return.
