Target Hosting Job Fair To Hire 300 New SF Workers
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -Target hosting a job fair this week to fill 300 jobs at its new San Francisco store.
The company is holding the event Thursday and Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the new Metreon City View Room at 135 4th St.
Target is hoping to fill cashier, service desk, photo production and other vacancies. Those interested are encouraged to apply online before showing up for the event.
The Target will be one of the retailer's first urban stores. Spokesperson Donna Egan said they're about half the average size, and won't have the usual patio furniture, or other large items.
KCBS' Melissa Culross Reports:
The $30 million renovation to the Metreon at 4th and Mission Streets in the South of Market will give what was largely considered to be a dot com-era failure a second chance.
