Suspects Sought In Armed Robbery Outside Concord Costco
CONCORD (BCN) -- Police are asking for the public's help in identifying two men who allegedly robbed a 70-year-old man at gunpoint in the Costco parking lot in Concord on Monday.
The two men reportedly approached the victim around 10:45 a.m., and one of them pointed a gun at him, Concord police Capt. Brian Wiesendanger said.
The first suspect is described as a Hispanic man who spoke Spanish, possibly with a Panamanian accent. He was about 40 years old, 6 feet tall, and weighed about 180 pounds.
He was wearing a bluish sweater, light colored pants, and dark shoes, and was armed with a handgun.
The second suspect, who allegedly pointed a gun at the victim, is described as a black man who spoke Spanish, possibly with a South American accent.
He was about 45 years old, 5 feet 7 inches tall, with a stocky build.
He was wearing a black leather jacket, a blue button-up shirt, a striped tie, dark pants and dark shoes.
The two men fled in a blue four-door car with tinted windows, police said. Both are considered armed and dangerous.
