Surveillance Video Captures Suspect In Pharmacy Robbery
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Police in San Francisco are asking for the public's help finding a thief who took $1,700 worth of pain killers from a Franklin Street pharmacy, according to authorities.
The theft happened at 6:30 p.m. on February 17 targeting a Walgreens at the intersection of Franklin and Post.
Surveillance video provided by the SFPD shows the suspect handing what appears to be a note to the person working behind the pharmacy counter at the Walgreens. The worker can be seen filling a bag that the suspect holds out with items from behind the pharmacy counter.
Throughout the incident, the suspect hides his identity by keeping his face covered with a scarf or partial ski mask and hood.
The suspect made off with $1,700 worth of Oxycotin and Fentanyl.
Police are investigating whether this case is connected to a recent Walnut Creek pharmacy robbery.
