1 Killed, 4 Injured In Separate Oakland Shootings
OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- One person was killed and four others injured in three separate shootings in Oakland Sunday, police said.
The first shooting occurred around 12:30 p.m. on the 1200 block of Mandela Parkway, according to Officer J. Moore.
Two people were injured, one critically, and both were taken to a hospital for treatment.
The second shooting occurred around 5:40 p.m. on the 900 block of 18th Street. Two male victims with gunshot wounds were brought in separate vehicles to a local hospital for treatment.
One of the victims later died from his injuries, while the second was in stable condition, Moore said.
Sunday night at about 10:50 p.m., a man was injured in a shooting near the intersection of 55th Avenue and International Boulevard, Moore said.
The victim was taken to a local hospital in stable condition, Moore said.
Police said an armed suspect fled the scene of the shooting in a vehicle and has not been arrested.
No other suspect information was available in any of the shootings.
